An organic chocolate delight with ecological packaging arrives to the Canadian marketplace

Mississauga, Ontario- May 23rd, 2011

ATG Trading Group Inc. launched Ananda Chocolate in the Canadian market last month to the elation of an anticipated public. Ananda Chocolate is a premium, organic dark chocolate from Ecuador that offer consumers a unique blend of organic dark chocolate sourced from local farmers using Fair Trade principals, packaged in a  fashionable, ecological packaging and wrapped in a 100% home-compostable cellulose foil (Foil4Soil).  

Ananda Chocolate was created with the vision of producing fine organic products in an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible fashion.   ATG Trading Group Inc. discovered the chocolate at Biofach Germany (World Organic Trade Fair) last year. It was developed by Amigos International and launched in Europe last year with much success.  The chocolate is produced 100% in Ecuador as a commitment to creating jobs in the country, and the 50 g bars are wrapped in a 100% home-compostable cellulose foil (Foil4Soil), and packaged in boxes made from responsibly forested woods (PEFC) that are printed by a local print shop using vegetable-based-ink.

Ananda Chocolate comes in five selections:

Ananda Chocolate is also packaged for special occasions in a gift pack with Coffee Break, Blissful Banana, and Pure Ecstasy.

The complete selection will be avaialble starting June 2011 at grocery, natural, and gift stores; as well as in selected resturants, spas, and speciality stores.
